Director of Constituent Engagement, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

Chrissie Binney is the Director of Constituent Engagement at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she is working to build meaningful relationships between alumni and the campus community.

Prior to joining RPI this April, Chrissie spent most of her career at her alma mater, the University at Albany. She is a graduate of the Emerging Nonprofit Leadership Accelerator and is a current member of the Leadership Capital Region Class of 2025.

Chrissie believes in building community wherever she can. She has served as a board member of the Friends and Foundation of the Albany Public Library and chair of Albany's Tulip Ball. She is an active member of the local volleyball community and a regular attendee at local events and fundraisers.  

Chrissie's husband Chad has served as a Big Brother for several years, so she's seen firsthand how amazing the program is. Chrissie and Chad have one energetic 8-year-old daughter, two crazy dogs, and a big network of generous friends and colleagues who they are counting on to donate!
